Speed Dating

Kalamazoo Weekly has an article that reads like this, "Come meet someone special. Cupid.com/Predating is fun, no pressure way for busy professionals to meet. It's based on the incredibly hot, new way for singles to meet other singles with no rejection. Recent research shows that the chemistry between two people occurs within the first few minutes of meeting. With Cupid.com/predating you go on up to 12, six- minute dates in one evening. You can quickly determine who you would truly like to hear from again."

Cool! That sure takes the risk and guess work out of dating! And to think, the promise of no rejection. I wonder if there is a lifetime warranty on the rejection clause? Hmmmm?

Thoughts?

Wow! I could never imagine dating online. It would be like dating a robot... how cool! They should make a Wii dating game. I'm sure it would go great in the markets because nobody wants to talk to actual people anymore. If you don't interact with others in person, then how can you fall in love? You don't get that feeling in your stomach and you can't really smile because it would just be smiling at the computer screen. People who fall "in love" online really are falling in love with the other person's looks. And who knows if that's the way the person really looks because you can digitally edit your photo to make yourself look as young, skinny, and beautiful as you would like. Let's get me hooked on one of these online dating sites! :)
