Love Lost

Auto Week says that Mitsubishi is planning to pull out of the Detroit Auto show.

I was thinking about the impact of these economic times and how it will effect teen dating. What would you do if your BF's or GF's family has to move to another state to find a job? How connected are you to not only your date, but their family?

Long distance relationships don't have a very high survival rate. Ask someone who has been there. How do you spend time together, will the phone and text messaging be enough?

Finding the "perfect one" and then not being able to see them can be heart wrenching but can also be an eye opening experience. The key is to look in those difficult moments at who you are with them and who you are without them. Are you the same? Better or worse? Stronger or weaker?

Losing love by circumstance can be the beginning of an entirely new journey. Just remember, there are many roads to the same destination.

Thoughts?

Long distance relationships are extremely hard! Why don't they work though? They could work if both people in the relationship are really committed. If these types of relationships don't work, then the couple just doesn't care enough to put time or effort into the relationship. If you are truly in love, you will do anything to see that special person; even if it is over a great distance.
